When three women come together to perform, it is no surprise that the most beautiful atmosphere is created. That is what the night of the 5th of April was. A wooden, theatrical looking layout with seats scaled up as if we were watching a musical. Although many people may find this unnatural for a concert because you often stand up when not in an arena, it worked for these artists.

Starting off with the first opener, April who graced the stage with ease. The audience was captivated by her voice, even through her being a new artist to everyone. I found the red lighting matched her really well. The tone of her voice is very soft but the instruments often build. I did not know what to expect but she is definitely an artist to watch.

We then move onto Maya Delilah. Her guitar solos captivate the entire audience. There were also a few unreleased songs that really encapsulated her voice. Breakup season was one of my personal favourites played that night as I can see the band really get into the music and have so much fun.

Onto the headliner of the night, Matilda Mann. From the moment she stepped onstage, she portrayed little nerves. Songs like as it is and doomsday were rather slow, with people in the audience holding flashlights and some other songs of hers like Bloom and Four Leaf Dream were more upbeat. Matilda also gave storylines to all of her songs which made the audience feel connected and portrayed her talents as a songwriter. The applause at the end said enough about it being a successful night, with words of praise heard as I left. If you like such artists as Phoebe Bridgers and Lizzy McAlpine, I highly recommend giving Matilda Mann a listen and even attend one of her concerts if you can.

There is little criticism if none at all about this concert. April, Maya and Matilda all have incredible live vocals and are naturals onstage, alongside their incredible bands.
